This is the news!

Well not exactly, but I have taken over the Editor job for our local village newsletter/publication that comes out 9 times a year.

Ok so it's not the Times or anything as grand as that, but I have a lot of plans for improvements and extra sections.

I have already implemented a  number of major changes, unfortunately I can't digress any information as the deadline for next months news is the 19th May, and it won't be printed and delivered until the end of the month.

I will post and let you know further details once I've got the first issue out of the way!

Awww! Thanks Debbie - I'll send you the PDF when I've done it if you like, but it's just a little village newsletter about 12 pages.

Oh - I await with bated breath - I bet you turn it upsidedown and I am sure that it will be hilarious Mr Sti**y

I can just picture you sat a your newsdesk - with one of the shade type thingies on your head (like you see in the old films - perhaps I can get Mrs Sti**g to make one for you!)

You are so kind Mrs Lottie Lady!

I must admit I AM rather excited - my version of the Kingston News is going to be totally different to what the villagers have been used to!

....we already thought about the visor thingy - although we were thinking more along the lines of a baseball hat or a pork pie hat with 'PRESS' written on a card stuck in the rim, or a chair I can take everywhere with me with 'EDITOR' written on the back like a directors chair!

:D

Woohooo! You're back!

Enthusiasm is one thing - using that enthusiasm constructively is another!

Thanks so much - and great to see you back in the blogging world...

...where have you been?

:D

Thanks Stig, I've been busy doing things I should have been blogging about!!! I've done a post for you about the quail, tried to link it back here but it links to blogger main page! Grrrr. Anyway, hopefully I'll manage to stick around for a while :)
